Mission Accomplished offers new training for young Midlands filmmakers

Have you always wanted to earn your living making TV shows and Films but not known how to get started?


Are you aged 19 or over?


Are you a resident in the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA)* region?


If you answered yes to these questions, then you can attend a brand new FREE film training course in the West Midlands.


Mission Accomplished are excited to introduce their TV and Film Fusion course developed in partnership with BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy with the support of the British Film Institute (BFI) awarding National Lottery funding and West Midlands Combined Authority.


The course is for those intrigued by the creative and technical aspects of film and television production. No experience or previous qualifications are required - just a passion to work in TV and Film in the West Midlands region.


This free training is available to individuals 19 and over who reside in the WMCA region. This includes residents of Birmingham City Council, Coventry City Council, Dudley Metro Borough Council, Sandwell Metro Borough Council, Solihull Metro Borough Council, Walsall Council and City of Wolverhampton.


What are the roles and opportunities for me in TV and Film ?


The course will help young learners explore all types and genres of TV and film productions as well as understand the workflow of different genres, from single-camera setups to studio productions and big budget dramas.


In addition, learners can hope to gain practical technical skills for entry-level positions in the TV and Film industry and build an industry focused CV.


As well as the above, the course will provide an opportunity to meet local industry professionals who are looking for new-entrants on their up coming productions.
